Wow the 2007 Family Reunion came so fast. We had a great turnout this year. Family members traveled from Texas, Florida, California, NY, Ohio and more with many attending for the first time. It was a thing of beauty to watch children, teens, and adults meet, recognize, honor, and enjoy their extended family. I would like to thank everyone for making this years reunion a success!!

I bring you greetings from the planning committee for the Patterson - Taylor Family Reunion. We are excited about seeing you in Atlanta in 2007. The Planning for a family reunion takes a lot of hard work, commitment, and at least 13 months of planning, We wasted no time in preparing this adventure. Because it will be the first time for many of you, we want to make sure its not your last. So we're making extraordinary plans. . . for extraordinary people. . . to visit an extraordinary place. We now have 6 months left. Our Reunion will be from August 2^nd - 5^th of 2007 in Atlanta Ga. With the theme of “Remembering Our Past . . . Building Our Future“

By now you should have already RSVP’d by mail or via the website. I am pleased to let you know we have located a beautiful hotel (Marriott Atlanta Airport) in South Atlanta, just minutes from Hartsfield Jackson Airport, shopping malls, mass transportation, restaurants, movie theaters, and parks. We are requesting that all family members stay at the Marriott all three nights of the reunion. a link to the Hotel has been added to the website. Be prepared to make your own Hotel arrangements at least 90 days before the reunion.

We estimate Family Reunion Fees of $135 per person ( ages 12 and up), $90 per person (ages 5 - 11; children under 5 are free). This Fee will be used to pay Family Reunion expenses (catering, event room rentals, mailings, etc.). Family Reunion Fees can be paid in full or split up and paid over time.( e.g. November 2006, January 2007 and March 2007).

                        It's History in the Making

Yes, plans are underway for the 2007 Patterson Taylor Family Reunion. We are planning a great family weekend of fun, celebration and other festivities for our reunion. This spectacular event will begin Thursday, August 2, 2007 and climax Sunday, August 5, 2007 in Atlanta.

We hope that this reunion will be the best ever. We also want to get the word out to ALL family members so we can have as much participation as possible. This website as well as the reunion is a work in progress. The Reunion Committee is requesting comments, feedback and suggestions from all family members to enhance the website and the reunion. I will gladly display any information/photos you want added to the website.

FAMILY HISTORIANS ARE NEEDED!
Does someone want to volunteer to gather info about all of the Patterson Taylor family descendants? The "Family History" page is being developed and information is needed.

If you have addresses (home or e-mail) or phone numbers of any family members that you do not believe was notified of the upcoming Family Reunion, please forward their information using the "Contact Us" page.

Whether you are planning to attend the reunion or not, please provide some demographic information on the "RSVP" page.
